Week 39 was hot. Someone left the oven on. So close to
completing Season 1.
Tim's Highlights: Tim picked up the flawless torch and
aside from a small number of miscues took home a 55. Early Deuce on #8 (wind picked up and he almost drove the hole) from 15 ft+, Eagle
on #11 and a Double Deuce day coming on #13 and #15 from
10ft+ and 27 ft+ respectively.
Nick's Highlights: Silver medal, once again. Eagle on
#11 and Dastardly double deuce on #13 from 8 ft+ and following
on #14 from #15.
Dominick's Highlights: Dominick started to toy with the
Bum Putt to minimal returns.
Fred's Highlights: Fred's West Coast visit was marked
with a long Deuce on #14 from 24 ft+ out and also many creative
comments out the nature of the quality of our courses in
Las Vegas. No, Not Really.

Week 38 was on of Bill's last chances to qualify and he
came out with a fury.
Bill's Highlights: Holy course record, Batman. Bill showed
up to play. Double Eagle on #10, Eagle on #9 and Double
Deuces on #14 and #16 from 13ft+ and 23 ft+ respectively.
Almost lost one of the deuces for violation of the pacing
rule. Back 9 course record as well ( I believe ).
Nick's Highlights: Keeping it close and having a decent
day. Eagle on #10, Double Deuce on #7 and #15 both from
21 ft+. Won the playoff on the first hole, 3-4.
Casey's Highlights: Casey was having a little bit of errant
drive syndrome but that didn't seem to effect him at all.
Eagle on #10 and a TRIPLE Deuce day at #6, #14 and #15 from
12 ft+, 15 ft+ and 21 ft+ respectively.
Tim's Highlights:Tim had to hold off and charging Jesse
at the end but had a good day himself. Eagle on #10 and
Double Deuce on #9 and #15 from 12 ft+ and 16 ft+ respectively.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse just missed the 4-way tie at
28 but came back on fire with a solid back 9 including an
Eagle on #11 and a TRIPLE Back-to-Back-to-Back Deuce effort
on #14, #15, and #16 from 27 ft+, 10 INCHES (Yes, he almost
aced) and 12 ft+.
Tina's Highlights: Tina is ever the guiding light of consistent
gameplay and steady improvement. If she'd catch the Y-Chromosome
fever and man up she'd be kicking our a$$es every week.
She's still a threat and some day we'll all get lazy and
the tide will rise.

Unofficial Week 37 outting. Class of 8P Reunion Style.
Nick's Highlights: Except for the Lost Dics it was a great
day and a contender for Course Record. Triple Deuce effort
on #4, #14 and #18 from a MONSTER 69 ft+, 24 ft+ and 6 ft+
respectively. One water shot but we won't mention it.
Zach's Higlights: Southpaw in the Hizzel. Zach held off
the wolves for 2nd place.
Matt J.'s Highlights: First time outting for Action Jackson
and a lucky cardback 3rd place.
Aaron's Highlights: Also a Frolf Virgin and a strong outting.
Aaron receives the unofficial Rim Job Award, I think we
counted at least 10.
Matt K's Highlights: Matt-a-tat-tat probably has the most
Elegant drive you'll ever see. Like a ballerina he would
float, and just as Fem.
Joel's Hightlights: Big Dogg was a late arrival but instantly
earned wicked cred by wading into the pond not once but
TWICE to retrieve an errant disc.

Week 37 was gusty at times and has led to a tie without
a sudden-death playoff. Placing determined by cardback but
points rewarded per East Coast Tie Rules.
Jesse's Highlights: Sometimes it pays not to have the
box. Coming into 18 in a three-way tie, Jesse watched Dominick
and Tim go out of bounds due to a gusty cross wind. A drive
aimed squarely at the rest-room landed right in line with
the pin and a 21 ft+ deuce clinched the first win.
Dominick's Highlights: After a slow start, Dominick turned
it up on the back 9 with back to back deuces on 14 (10 ft+)
and 15 (12 ft+).
Tim's Highlights: Out of bounds was the killer for Tim
this week in an otherwise good round.
Casey's Highlights: A couple of unfortunate holes (including
the traditional high score on the first hole) kept Casey
just back from the tight 1-2-3 pack. An amazing through
the top deuce from 55 ft+ on 6 nearly forced a ruling.
Brent's Highlights: The southpaw throw definitely had
an advantage on some of the holes due to the wind but also
caused an unfortunate OB on 17.

Week 36 was a re-visit to Sunset and was glorious. A light
breeze kept us from overheating.
Nick's Highlights: Nick has finally dialed in his pesky
Destoryer and did a little bit of long drive clinics all
day. Such a boon led to an easy Deuce on #12 (348 ft) from
12 ft+ PASSED the hole.
Casey's Highlights: Casey was fighting with the basket
all day long and many 3's became unfortunate 4's.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse was in the running until some
unfortunate O.B. and tree trouble on the back.
Tina's Highlights: Tina, recovering, showcase a few long
distance putts giving us all a glimmer of the potential
she has.
Brent's Highlights: Brent returns from a hiatus and shaked
off the dust. Performing well and getting the southpaw Ole
under control.

Week 34 was not only had hot weather but hot competition
as well. Lowest rounds for almost everyone. Casey and Jesse
faced off again in a playoff with Casey holding Jesse off
on the third hole. 3 - 3, 3 - 3, 2 - 3. Hard to beat a deuce
for the win.
Tim's Highlights: Tim with the stellar Quatro Dos performance.
#2 (almost aced), #12, #14, #15 from 9 ft+, 9 ft+, 15 ft+,
and 17 ft+ respectively.
Nick's Highlights: Nick managed the first Sub-60 without
a Deuce.
Casey's Highlights: Casey was on pace for the lowest front
9 until and unlucky turn of events around hole 9..
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse found the sage-like advice
he was looking for just an unlucky turn fending off Casey's
Deuce on #3.
Jason's Highlights: Newcomer Jason's first round with
us and almost worked his way into a 3 way playoff for 3rd
place. We look for good things to come.
Tina's Highlights: Tina brought out a new driver and with
it a whole new aspect of her game.
Zachary's Highlights: This was visiting Zach's first Frolf
Round ever and should be really proud of a strong 78. And
hey, no one fell down.

Week 33 back to Peccole.HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! We
promise to call after Frolf. We also met New Guy Jason.
Tim's Highlights: Tim led another Hammer Demonstration.
Peccole seems no problem if you can perfect this shot.
Nick's Highlights: Nothing significant. I did receive
help on my O.B. 9. A very nice lady helped me get my disc
back. On 18 had a shot in the sprinklers that hit and bounced
out of the basket.
Jesse's Highlights: Sometimes winning takes a 2nd seat
to a great, and unbelievable, Double Deuce Effort. #11 and
#13 respectively from 21 ft+ and 9 ft+. Both Jesse and Casey
had Ace Scares on #13.
Casey's Highlights: Casey had a stellar tap Deuce on
#13 from 9 ft+ out. Along with doing his part to hit every
tree on the course. They say talking to plants makes them
grow stronger. Hopefully any language, including profanity
and ill-wishes, falls into that category.

Week 32 in the books. Playoff won by Casey on Hole #1
3 to Jesse's 4. Pins in long position on 14, 15, and 16.
Tim's Highlights: Tim led off with the early Deuce on
#3 from 21+ ft away.
Nick's Highlights: Double Deuce day for Nick. #6 and #9
from 30+ ft. and 18+ ft. away respectively. Nick also managed
to find the only topless sunbather in Mountain Crest with
his errant drive on #2.
Casey's Highlights: Casey was leading a hard charge for
the lead until the unfortunate O.B. on #14.
Jesse's Highlights: Someday Jesse will find the Sage-like
advice needed to prevent "Cracking under the pressure".
Until then we'll cash in on his lack of "finishing"
ability with respect to playoffs.
Tina's Highlights: Tina returns from a small hiatus on
the eve of her birthday. Solid game and not too much rust
to shake off.

Week 31 was filled with Sun, breeze and Sand Volleyball
goodness, (hello ladies...)
Nick's Highlights: Nick had a double deuce and a solid
round. Deuces on #10 and #12 from 51 ft+ (right of the hole)
and 18 ft+ (passed the hole) respectively.
Tim's Highlights: Tim started out strong taking the early
skins lead. A few errant shots and Nick going on a tare
prevented a win. Solid 7 Under though.

MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm, week 30. Let the countdown to Championships
begin. Mountain Crest threw us a curveball this week in
the form of #14, #15, and #16 having the pins set to the
actual pin placements.
Nick's Highlights: Coming back from a week off with a
vengence Nick unleashed the Fabled Musket with monster drives
that he was actually able to back up with decent putting.
Deuce on #8 (312 ft) from 24ft+ away (past the hole).
Bill's Highlights: Nice weather and Bill surfaces, we
may have to change his name from Butt-ah to Groundhog.
Tim's Highlights: Timmy led a nice "self-destruction"
clinic. We didn't have to talk any trash, he was taking
care of all of it himself. Deuce on #18 (252 ft) from 30
ft+ (in front of the hole).
Jesse's Highlights: Hey, when you play with the best,
someone has to finish last. Jesse had a stellar day marred
by only a few tricky O.B. situations. He'll bounce back.

Week 29 and once again Bill could have been listed here, but isn't.
Tim had another stellar outing with the lone deuce of
the day coming on #15 from 9 feet out.
Casey showed up fresh from kick-ball tryouts and threw
another consistent round.
Jesse tried to force a top of basket ruling at least
4 times, but sunset definitely isn't the place to do it.
A new sunset low for Jesse.
Tina managed to bounce her disc onto someone sleeping
in the line of fire on #14. To make her feel better, we
all aimed for someone resting in the shade on #16. Another
best score ever for Tina.
Tatiana just narrowly missed her first sub-90 round.
If Tim keeps telling her to "aim right" she
might just aim for him!

Week 28 brought back the amazing weather. A little "hot"
for the newly resident East-coasters but they survived.
So much so that everyone (excluding Nick) had an exceptional
day, including a new all-time low.
Tim's Highlights: Jebus Timmy, bring the noise bring in
the funk. Timmy lit up the scorecard with a 55 and
also racked up 3 deuces. #2, #9, and #14 from 36 ft.+, 10
ft.+ and 6 ft.+ respectively.
Casey's Highlights: Casey also brought the A+ game this
week with a triple deuce showing. #2, #15 and #18 from 21
ft.+, 9 ft+ and 12 ft.+ respectively. He also gave us an
Ace scare on #15.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse showed us the definition of
PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). A slow start couldn't keep
him down and he finished strong with his first back-to-back
deuces. #15 and #16 were no match for Skippy this week drilling
them from 6 ft.+ and 9 ft.+ respectively.
Nick's Highlights: There weren't any. Except maybe the
O.B. tree save on #13. Yep, that's it. Well there was a
solo deuce on #6 from 21 ft.+ out.
Tina's Highlights: Last place is proving to never be the
first loser. Tina continues to shave strokes every week.
Continued improvement far out-ranks consistant marginality.

Week 26, Easter Sunday. Note for the future, we're not
playing on Easter Sunday again. Too many people. We had
to skip 17 altogether and played 18 twice.
Bill's Highlights: Bill came out again and dropped a serious
score, 56. Deuce on #3 (223 ft) and #14 (285 ft) from 12
ft+ and 13 ft+ respectively.
Nick's Highlights: Nothing like playing personal safety
monitor. Nick played liason to the unsuspecting and let
people know we were playing through. Double Deuce on #15
(255 ft) and #18 (252 ft, first time through) from 9 ft+
and 27 ft+ respectively.
Casey's Highlights: Casey pulled an early Deuce on #7
(271 ft) from 19 ft+ out.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse continues to add the "Silent
Deuce" to his bag-o-tricks. Late Deuce on #18 (252
ft, second time through) from 9 ft+ out.
Tina's Highlights: Tina had another solid round continuing
to improve on her drives. And get sunburns as well.
Chris's Highlights: Aside from playing the entire round
with the attachment of the cutest 8 month old we've ever
seen he also managed a First Deuce on #15 (255 ft) from
10 ft+ away.
Brent's Highlights: Brent forced a ruling, Yes, in the
bed of a pick up truck on the street is O.B.
Karima's Highlights: A sub-100 first ever outting for
Karima is exceptionally good.

Suprise Wednesday outting organized by Jesse and Casey.
Non-league and we decided to play a 2 person team Scramble.
Each team member throws then the team reconvene's at the
best throw and all throw from there until complete.
Jesse and Nick'sHighlights: Triple deuce effort, putts
by Nick and lead shots by Jesse. 24 ft+, 21 ft+, and 45
ft+ on 15, 16, and 18 respectively.
Casey and Tina's Highlights: Casey had the longest Deuce
of the day (and most impressive, around and under a tree)
on #3 from 84 ft+ away. Even though Tina was originally
opposed to the idea she ended up being a valuable asset
and consistent partner.

DNF
DNF
Week 25 had clouds and a little wind and a little chill
but all in all a nice day.
Casey's Highlights: Casey ended the round within a three-way
tie and uttered the line "I've got a broken pipe to
fix, let's make this quick." Quick indeed taking the
victory on the second playoff hole. Key Deuce late on #15
(232ft) from 12 ft+ away.
Tim's Highlights: Taking home the second spot in the three-way
Tie was Mr. Rim Job himself. Proving that when the tough
get going, the almost-tough talk a lot of smack.
Nick's Highlights: Rounding out the last of the three-way
Nick bowed out on the first hole. Two potential deuces from
way out once again hit the basket and then the chains on
#4 and #12 respectively.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse started off like a freight train
with the early deuce on #2 (326 ft) from a huge 78 ft+ out.
Jesse then went on to Vanquish the Banshee on #18 when an
errant O.B. shot led to 165g of Disc meeting 2.75 tons of
Hummer. Hummer wins.
Brent's Highlights: Congratulations are in order. Mr.
Clark took home his first deuce EVER on #15 (232 ft) from
an angled 36 ft+ away. Having to arc the shot around a tree
was pretty impressive.
Tina's Highlights: Tina, for the second week in a row,
set her new Low Score for Sunset Park. At this pace she
should be throwing a 60 at the Championships (which she
also qualified for this week).
Chris's Highlights: The triumphant return of Chris was
cut short by house hunting. If you remember Chris was with
us last time at the 2007 midseason classic in which he "aced"
#9 sort of. He ended up sinking his drive into the kiddie
pool that was left on the course.

Week 24 was a return to the weather we are used to. Light
breeze, barely detectable and sunshine sweet sunshine.
Tim's Highlights: Tim did a first, I believe. Win a round
and go completely O.B. free. Today was Tim's day. Unfaltered
all day long with a late deuce on #15 (232 ft) from 10 ft+
away.
Nick's Highlights: After a long drought the Deuce Bird
has returned and it came with crash. A 153 ft+ shot crash
that is, #9 (315 ft).
Casey's Highlights: Rounding out the Deuces on the day
was Casey's shot on #7 (305 ft) from 42 ft+ out.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse got a taste of the big show
this week. Throwing his best round and flirting within 2
strokes of the tight 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places.
Tina's Highlights: Tina continues to improve and even
threw her personal best, demonstrating consistently straight
and accurate drives and 2nd shots.
Tatiana's Highlights: Tatiana threw her personal best
(95) and also her first sub-100 round. Continued improvement
is always a good thing.
VIDS: Yep we have them, they'll be posted shortly. (Editor)
Casey's Highlights: Casey had some mind-bending recovery
shots. Consistently leaving a tap-in to close out.
Tim's Highlights: Once again the solo deuce. #3 (223 ft)
from 15 ft+ away. Tim also almost had 2 aces. Not through
normal means though but actually almost from on the bounce.
That's right, I said the BOUNCE!
Nick's Highlights: Is most negative distance a highlight?
Everyone else seemed to think it was noteworthy.
Brent's Highlights: Record setting Brent became record
smashing. 8 O.B. totalling 13 strokes. Rough day in the
wind.
Commissioner's Note: Tina played hole #1 (will be awarded
an event point but no season points) and Jesse kept scorecard
(will receive and event point and 2 season points).

Week 22 can just plain eat it. I think that was the general
consensus. Wind, rain, hot, cold, drizzle, sleet, booooooooo.
Tim's Highlights: Solo Deuce on #9 (238 ft) from 51 ft+
out.
Nick's Highlights: Only highlight was potential "rooftoop
ruling" for what happens when a putt lands on the top
of a basket. Nick almost had a ruling on #2 (308 ft) from
a whopping 126 ft+ away.
Tina's Highlights: None to speak of, well, ok, so she
got third. Blah blah blah. Just kidding, great job by Tina.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse set the all-time O.B. record
for Mountain Crest. 6 O.B.'s totalling 9 strokes, and he
lost to his GF.
A.Jay's Highlights: A.Jay had the pleasure of playing
from the street on 3 consecutive holes and tied the Most
O.B. record with a stellar 7.
Tatiana's Highlights: Tatiana came out and hung tough
through the weather. We had briefly great shots occuring
until giant gusts of wind destroyed it. There is improvement
every outting, lets just hope for one without so much weather.

Week 21 is chock full of good time. Aside from the great
weather we witnessed a guy tag an old lady 300 ft+ out.
A beer getting shotgunned and then the owner of that shotgun
tee off and almost tag a little girl on roller skates. Good
times. Witnessed an O.B. shot stay out of bounds by hitting
the gazebo roof it was under and Nick decided to play from
across the street on # 13 (295 ft).
Nick's Highlights: It was Nick's turn to give the driving
clinic launching several into orbit. Week 21 was also the
one and subsequent ONLY time Nick would use the Turbo Putter.
Previously allowed by the PDGA then subsequently banned.
Deuce on #16 (~316 ft) from 15 ft+ out.
Casey's Highlights: Casey was in the hunt shot for shot
until some unfortunate O.B. landings added a few strokes.
Day 1 of new putter as well, look for lower scores in the
future.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse continues to show improvement.
2nd week in a row with an almost deuce from way out, this
time on #17 (293 ft) from 126 ft+ out. Jesse was bit by
the Almost Deuce bird a few times this round as well.
Brent's Highlights: Brent in attendance is a highlight
enough, being our only southpaw, but then he came out and
showed us all how to do a second shot. Beaming those shots
in ridiculously close putting vacinity.
Tina's Highlights: Holy Under 80 day Tina. The girl has
wicked skills and they get better ever week.
Jay's Highlights: Connecticut visitor #1 was having the
roller coaster day. Great shot followed by difficult wrap-around
and vice versa happened all day. Stellar outting for first
time in Vegas.
A.Jay's Highlights: AJ is the 2nd Connecticut visitor
and had "never played before" but managed to have
the most steady drive and 250 ft+ distance of any "beginner"
I've ever seen. He even managed a huge deuce on #14 (~285
ft) from 72 ft+ out. Stellar. AJ was also the one who double
O.B.'d into the gazebo roof.
