Season 2: Week 20: A little breezy out there today.
Nick's Highlights: Nick layed down a solo deuce on #18 from 12 ft+. The real highlight was that his drive on #11 and #12 landed in almost the same spot which is about a 400 ft drive on #11.
Jia's Highlights: Jia learned the benefit of doing a strong putt in the wind.

Season 2: Week 19: Day 2 of the Doubleheader and the weather was amazing. Eye of the storm-like calmness. This was the closest match ever recorded as far as placing in both Natural and Handicapped scoring.
Nick's Highlights: Nick came out swinging with an Eagle on #10 and 2 Deuces on #6 and #13 from 9 ft+ an 21 ft+ respectively.
Tim's Highlights: Timmy set the bar high early with a Deuce on #2 from 21 ft+ and then reaffirmed on #15 from 30 ft+.
Casey's Highlights: Casey rode the rollercoaster today. O.B. trouble and a strong Double Deuce performance on #14 and #15 from 21 ft+ and 10 ft+ respectivley.
Jesse's Highlights: Aside from the Deuce on #6 from 8 ft+, Jesse's real highlight is his ability to inflict pain on himself. That tree on #17 will learn not to be so Grabby Grabby next time.
Jia's Highlights: Jia is shoring up to be a true threat every week. Tight scoring on the back 9 with a 30 and his second Deuce ever on #15 from 15 ft+ out.

Nick's Highlights: Nick set a course record with 5 (FIVE) deuces and a solid 57. Deuces on #2, #6, #12, #15 and #18 from 23 ft+, 26 ft+, 27 ft+, 18 ft+ and 27 ft+ respectively.
Casey's Highlights: Casey threw an O.B. free round and ended on a solid note with a Deuce on #18 from 16 ft+.
Jia's Highlights: Jia shot well under his handicap and even logged his first deuce on #15 from 11 ft+.

Highlights
Season 2 Week 16: Love the desert, 61 degrees, no wind, short sleeves and almost shorts. Colossul outting by both gentlemen. Tie breaker went 3-3, 3-3, 3-2. Won by Nick on the third hole with a 12 ft+ deuce (that's a ~352 ft drive people!). With this outting, Nick becomes the first 3-part qualifier for the championships with Natural Points, Handicap Points and Outting Total requirements met.
Nick's Highlights: Crushing, the only way to describe the Driving Show put on by Nick. Triple Deuce on the day coming in on #1, #4, and #3 from 6ft+, 18 ft+ and 12 ft+ respectively.
Tim's Highlights: Timmy almost threw the perfect round with All 3's except for a pesky rolling O.B. on #9.

Season 2 Week 15: Granted, the first 2 holes started windy and a little chilly, the last 16 were fantastic. Congrats to Jesse for qualifying for the Championship in June.
Nick's Highlights: Nick pretty much threw a near perfect round which included numerous lucky breaks. Putting on a solid day with 3 Deuces the last being an Eagle. The holes were #15, #17, and #18 from 6 ft+, 3 ft+ (a tapper) and 18 ft+ respectively.
Tim's Highlights: Solo Deuce for Tim on # 15 from 18 ft+ away.
Jesse's Highlights: Solo Deuce for Jesse as well on # 6 from 23 ft+ away.
Jia's Highlights: Jia had a little trouble with the trees and has earned a nickname, well a tie for nicknames anyway. It's either "Axe" or "Timber", the jury is still out.

Season 2: Week 14. Beautiful day and belates Holiday Gift. Timmy Set the Course record with a Total record low 53 and a back 9 low 24.
Tim's Highlights: Crickey, the kid was more on fire than his hair (ginger-love). Back-to-back Eagles on # 10 and #11 followed by 4 Deuces on #14, #15, #16 and #18 from 45 ft+, 9 ft+, 33 ft+ and 18 ft+ respectively.
Casey's Highlights: Not to be outdone Casey brought the heat on the back nine with back-to-back Eagles on #10 and #11 followed by a tap-in Deuce on #16 from pretty much the base of the basket.
Nick's Highlights: Under normal circumstances a 56 wins Mtn. Crest. Nick pulled an Eagle on #11, Deuces on #8 and #18 from 18 ft+ and 24 ft+ respectively and the rare "O.B. Deuce" on #9.
Alyssa's Highlights: On just her 3rd or 4th outting ever Alyssa had 2 goals; Have fun and don't throw your arm out. She accomplished both.

Season 2: Week 13. Nothing like Xmas and 50 degrees. Casey and Nick played match and skins and met new friend Chris.
Casey's Highlights: Stellar outting for Casey with the Eagle on #11 and the Deuce on #9 from 7 ft+ away. O.B. free sure helps too.
Nick's Highlights: The musket was in full effect with a few off-target drives of 350 ft+ but did manage to dial it in for the Eagle on #10 and a long Deuce on #6 from 21 ft+.

Season 2 Week 12: So the weather man predicted 40 degrees and 40 mph winds. Result: 65 degrees, no clouds, no wind what-so-ever. Eat that Meteorology.
Nick's Highlights: Regaining the title of Champion, in authoritative fashion. (Editor's note: Nick would never be so boastfull). Double deuce day for Nick on #12 and #18 from 7ft+ (past the whole, thats right 316 foot drive) and 36 ft+ respectively (oh yeah, from WAY DOWN TOWN).
Tim's Highlights: Tim put on another solid SOLID showing this week. An errant tee shot on #10 and a late 5 (the baskets were "lowered") but still a solid 62.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse put the burners on over the back 9 and gave 2nd place an honest shot. Speaking of honest shots, the BRAND NEW tree on #18 says "thanks".
Jia's Highlights: Jia got a little taste of the "welcome back to frolf, here's some trees and some O.B.'s"
Brent's Highlights: Brent would also agree with the baskets being "lowered" having been robbed of at least 5 strokes.

Season 2 Week 11: A little chillly but an amazing weather day with zero wind. Playoff won (given to) Tim after 3 holes (Nick choked on the second) at 3-3, 4-4, 3-5.
Tim's Highlights: Solid solid performance from Tim with a solo Deuce on #15 from 15 ft+ out.
Nick's Highlights: While Nick didn't win, he set a record for most Deuces in a round with an astonishing 4 total, including a ballzy Deuce on #18 to force a playoff. Deuces on #2, #7, #9 and #18 from 35 ft+, 7 ft+, 30 ft+ and 18 ft+ respectively.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse had a performance enhanced day with presence of this Dad (awesome guy) and the assistance of an O.B. free round.
Casey's Highlights: Casey had a little trouble shaking the dust off of the extended absence, but we're glad to see him back.
Tina's Highlights: Oh Tina, personal best (top 3 anyway) and even the Shot of the Day. A 10 ft+ bank of the tree on #8 into the trashcan. Bravo.

Season 2: Week 10. We started on #9 to avoid the 2 huge groups that started at 10 am. Plus, the wind picked up to "freakin gusty" early and stuck with us the whole time.
Tima's Highlights: Double Deuce day and Single Eagle day for Timmy. Hitting Jia's car on #18 isn't an official stat, but it happened. Deuces on #14 and #16 from 18 ft+ and 36 ft+ respectively.
Nick's Highlights: Nick recorded one of the few 6's without 2 things. O.B. and boobs, oh well. Deuce on #16 from 9 ft+ out and an Eagle on #10 regardless.
Jia's Highlights: Jia seemed to be the only one unaffected by the wind throwing a personal best 74.

Season 2: Week 9. Mid-November and still shorts weather. Not sure if its fair to say I "miss" snow. Playoff for first won by Nick 4-4, 3-4.
Nick's Highlights: Double Deuce and Double (2) Eagle day for Neeko. Deuces on #3 and #7 from 21 ft+ and 18 ft+ respectively.
Tim's Highlights: Single Deuce and Double (2) Eagle day for Rim Job. Deuce on #16 from 18 ft+. Timmy also managed to 'ace' the trashcan on #1. Of course he was using Nick's discs at the time.
Casey's Highlights: Casey came back from 5th at the turn to finish 3rd with the help of an Eagle and a Double Deuce effort. Deuces on # 14 and #16 from 6 ft+ and 22 ft+ respectively. The Deuce on #14 was by way of a tee shot that bounced off the tree right behind the hole. With the flight path it was on, it must have grazed the chains.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse didn't have any special holes (that's what she said) but he gets the All-Time Trooper award. Throwing a 63 on 3 or less hours of sleep is quite the feet.
Brent's Highlights: Brent (for the second week in a row, same gazebo almost same place) managed to put his Shark O.B. and unreachable. He may need a sponsorship, or a ladder.
Tina's Highlights: Playing through an injury and showing VAST improvement with her drives and accuracy.
Editor's Note: With the completion of Week 9, Nick has qualified for the Championships through Natural and Handicap points (at the same time).

Highlights
Season 2: Week 8. Most of the time Global Warming is bad, but today Global Warming was our friend. 65 and 0, ZERO, wind. It was the most amazing day.
Nick's Highlights: Double Deuce day for Nick along with some Drive for show type activities. The first Deuce (unofficially due to the O.B) came on #17 from 35 ft+ and followed by #18 from 18 ft+.
Tina's Highlights: Uh, Tina got second. Told ya so. Tina's key to "victory" was her O.B. free round. Even an Eagle on #11. Good job girlie.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse got a little practice playing from Trouble this week. Lots of behind-the-tree type shots for Jess-Man. Solid Eagle on #11 to boot.
Brent's Highlights: Brent got Em. out of the house so that's key to his playing well. Even though he did lose a disc on the gazebo of #16 and hit the rim/roof times while putting.

Season 2 Week 7: Day one of the weekend double header. Beautiful weather for Mid-November. Small breezy portions.
Nick's Highlights: Nick brought out the Deuce-mobile hitting on #4 and #11 from 13 ft+ and 19 ft+ respectively.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse threw a very rare, for anyone, O.B. free round. Kudos.
Brent's Highlights: Armed with a new Putter/Driver combo Brent stepped up and became a putting threat.
Tina's Highlights: Tina had a little trouble with the foliage of Sunset Park.

Season 2: Week 6. We had a little wind, and a lot of trees hit, but the big news was the Ren.Fest occupying Hole #2. Too many wench jokes, not enough time.
Nick's Highlights: Solid Day for Nick, benefit of a big gun and a tail wind is HUGE drives. Oh yes, Nick brought the huge.
Jesse's Highlights: Amazing drive on #14 left with 4ft+ for a Deuce. Almost caught Nick for the win.
Brent's Highlights: I'm starting to see a pattern, Brent in the top 3 or 4 every week.
Jia's Highlights: Jia caught some Tree Fever during the round and just really wanted to break in his new discs with some bark marks.
Tina's Highlights: Tina joined the "Over-the-wall" club by donating her disc on the back.

Season 2: Week 5. I was not there but word on the street was the Windy was the word of the day. This marks the first group of people to complete 3 outings at one location, thus establishing their 2008 Handicap.
Casey's Highlights: All wind aside Casey locked in a Deuce on #9 from 12 ft+ and held of Jesse in a playoff that went 4-4, 3-4.
Jesse's Highlights: Almost clenched victory but just missed, although Deuce on #6 from 11 ft+ doesn't hurt.
Brent's Highlights: One stroke away from victory.
Jia's Highlights: If anything Jia got a great demonstration of pressure shots.

Season 2 Week 4: Zombies, zombies everywhere. Who will save us? Emily to the rescue.
Casey's Highlights: Holey 3's Batman. Casey put on a clinic.
Nick's Highlights: They say "Drive for show, putt for dough". Today Nick put the two together for a meganormous deuce on #4 from 45 ft+ out.
Jesse's Highlights: Once Jesse stopped kickin himself he put together a pretty decent round.
Jia's Highlights: Jia felt the O.B. sting a little today but his 2nd and 3rd shots are getting closer and closer to going in.
Brent's Highlights: Brent had a couple of Double O.B. issues but remove those and he's right there in contention.

Highlights
Season 2 Week 3: Gorgeous weather for our first outting at Sunset Park. All-in-all a good day.
Nick's Highlights: Eagle, Deuce for Nick on #18 and #15 respectively with a miniscule 12 ft on the deuce. Early "controversy" as Nick needed a ruling on a non-O.B. shot on #1 (technically was past the plane of the fence).
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse lead at the turn and had a stellar round, nothing to scoff at.
Tim's Highlights: Tim keeps up his record of 3 for 3 in week in which he has brought a guest.
Jia's Highlights:Wow, just Wow. Jia has shown up as a true force in only 2 weeks of play. We'll be keeping a closer eye on him now.
Brent's Highlights: An Eagle. Brent has trained his toss to flatten out and it is not putting him in better position for shots.
Tina's Highlights: Tina had some great 3rd and 4th shots that hit the chains or nearly did. If she tightens those up, expect her to move up the points ladder.
Troy's Highlights: Troy was a first-timer and enjoyed the beauty that is the Newbie Olé. Lousiana is a long way off and I bet their courses have Gators.

Season 2: Week 2. The wind made an appearance bur overall the day turned out to be a good outting. Here's hoping tag-a-long Manny (and rambunctous dog Rocky) found their keys.
Nick's Highlights: Double eagle attempt on the long #11 ended in a single Eagle accompanied by a Double Deuce outting on #6 and #16 from 33 ft+ and 12 ft+ respectively.
Casey's Highlights: Even though Ace is a great name, we may have to change it to Coaster (as in Roller Coaster) as Casey's placement in the group has its ups and downs. One hole he Rocks a Deuce (#9) from 19 ft+ away and an Eagle on #11 and the next he's posting heavy 5's.
Tim's Highlights: Solo Deuce for Timmy this week coming on #2 from 18 ft+ away.
Jesse's Highlights: Jesse had it all together even posting a Deuce on #15 from 10 ft+ away then proceeded to "sh*t the bed" on #17 and #18. Next time buddy..
Brent's Highlights: If we could keep Brent out of the trees and in some clean fairway he'd put up a real threat, Brent's drives have been straightening out and getting more distance.
Tina's Highlights: Tina joined the Box Cutter Club this week. On #13 she earned the Tee box outright and held intul Jesse killed it on #15 with a Deuce, Kudos.

Highlights
Season 2: Week 1. Lots and lots of dust to shake off, including my ability to add. Ran a double-tie playoff after 18 holes, for future reference 9+5 = 14, not 13. Tim and Casey's playoff went 3 holes with a 3-3, 3-3, 2-3 victory for Tim.
Tim's Highlights: Timmy came back with the heat after the long hiatus, running the score and keeping a strong lead throughout the game. Double Deuce day for "Rimjob" on # 15 and #16 from 3 ft+ and 39 ft+ respectively.
Casey's Highlights: Casey also brought the heat and gave Timmy a run for his money on the back 9. Capping a large Eagle on #10 and a pair of Deuces on #14 and #16 from 36 ft+ and 12 ft+ respectively.
Jesse's Highlights: We may have to change his name from "Skippy" to "Comeback Kid". It's been a long time sine anyone got the Dreaded OCHO and still finished in the top 3. Full credit for stepping up in the "Playoff" winning 4-4, 2-3 with a Deuce from 55 ft+ out that clanged the top rim and dropped like the victory hammer it was.
Nick's Highlights: Note to self, when storing the "Musket" for long periods of time, expect aiming issues upon first use. Blah, what a day, only saving moment was the Eagle on #10. 11 missed Deuce attempts can wear on a guy, but no one was counting (except me).
Brent's Highlights: Brent had consistent play and even capped off the outting with a stellar Deuce on #15 from 12 ft+ out. Minimal trips to the Street on the back 9 also helps.
Chris's Highlights: Chris's first outting and visit came by way of Tim and proved to be a quick student of the sport. Throwing lazer beams around hole 5 and even shocking the world with the Double Eagle on #10 from a minimal 12 ft+ away.
Tina's Highlights: While Tina did not place in the top 5 she still shot one of the best rounds for herself to date. We look forward to that massive handicap decreasing as time goes on.
Jia's Highlights: Another first-timer and quick student of the sport. Jia focused on throwing straight rather than far and diced his way through holes. The technique is set, now time for the power.
