What a perfect day to forget the camera. Tim's Highlights: 5 Deuces and and Eagle and another tie for the Course Record 52. Deuces on #3, #7, #14, #15 and #17 from 27 ft+, 18 ft+, 18 ft+, 18 ft+ and 21 ft+ respectively. Nick's Highlights: So Close to hitting the Frolf Cycle. Deuce on #6 from 6 ft+, Double Eagle on #10 and Eagle on #11. I will note that Eagle on #11 was in 2 shots (a Deuce) but the first shot landed in the O.B. and then a sink putt from 47 ft+). Jia's Highlights: Eagle for Jia and not a bad day considering playing with borrowed discs. Lance's Highlights: Lance wanted to leave with something and he did. Luke was married in the afternoon, what a great way to start the day. Nick's Highlights: Quad Deuce and an Eagle. 2's on #1, #7, #10 and #17 from 12 ft+, 24 ft+, 3 ft+ and 12 ft+ respectively. Jake's Highlights: Well, Luke hit the water in the previous outting so it was Big Brother's turn this time. Deuce on #10 from 30 ft+. Ty's Highlights: Ty threw a completely penalty free round, which is tough given the foliage, water and O.B. Luke's Highlights: Although we're sure he had other things on his mind, Luke copied his previous score and threw in a Deuce on #10 from 6 ft+ to boot. Travis's Highlights: Travis also threw a penalty free round. Not bad for your first outting. Jia's Highlights: Jia had a steady day with a little O.B. trouble. We'll blame the back 9 on him leaving his disc on the roof of the gazebo on #9. Kudos to Jia for a personal best, Nick for tying the Course Record with a 53 and then to Tim for resetting the bar at 52 gracefully. Well, maybe not gracefully, but the new record is now 52. Tim's Highlights: 4 Deuces and 2 Eagles, 0 O.B.'s, that's how it's done kiddies. Deuces on #3, #8, #14 and #15 from 9 ft+, 12 ft+, 21 ft+ and 20 ft+ respectively. Nick's Highlights: 4 Deuces, 1 DOUBLE EAGLE and 2 O.B.'s is how you Tie the old record. Deuces on #1, #13, #16 and #17 from 21 ft+, 27 ft+, 30 ft+ and 27 ft+ respectively, aka A long fricken way out! Jia's Highlights: Stellar day for Jia setting a personal best and learning a little of the "trash talk trade" while he was at it. Deuce on the day on #14 from 17 ft+. Casey's Highlights: Casey was having a little difficulty with the O.B. gremlins. Did swing a nice Deuce on #16 from 6 ft+. Fantastic weather meant the course was packed with people. Nick's Highlights: Double Deuce Day, 1 Eagle and No O.B. Deuces on #2 and #15 from 9 ft+ and 3 ft+ respecitvely. Gave the basket a fly-by on # 15. Jesse's Highlights: Jesse threw one of his best rounds and was O.B. free until that pesky 18th. Almost didn't finish before the sun dropped out on us. Playoff ended on first hole 3-4. We decided that the loss was most likely due to the pleasant perfume saturation of Zach's shirt. Maggie, he was dilligent all week long, but the perfume was definitely a distraction. :D Nick's Highlights: Big outting for Nick with 2 Deuces and an Eagle. 2's on #12 and #15 from 30 ft+ and 15 ft+ respectively. Zach's Highlights: Indeed young padawan, you are becoming strong in the ways of the Force. 12 under right out of the gate is HUGE! Cathy's Highlights: Cathy dropped 8 strokes from front to back and was very cooperative and patient with all of the "coaching" she was receiving. Next year, there's always next year. Zach's Highlights: Making a family trip out to Vegas, Zach joined me to show how much better he has become since his last outting. 96 - 81 is truly an improvement, especially with the conditions. Casey's Highlights: Casey was bitten by the O.B. bug today. Lone deuce on #7 from 10 ft+. Tina's Highlights: After spending some time in the trees to start, Tina pulled off a fantastic throw on #15, leaving her disc leaning against the pole for a tap in deuce. Casey's Highlights: Single Deuce and Eagle on the day for Casey. Deuce on #6 from 30 ft+. Casey also through the crazy rare O.B. Free round. Brent's Highlights: Brent went ahead and threw one of his top rounds of the season. Solid outting. Ok, now an order of business. I screwed up the chip count at 9. I had accidentally given Tina 2 extra strokes. What this did at the end was put Tina and Jia in a tie. Since I didnt' have the correct math we didn't run a playoff and I went to the second option which is a Card-back which had Tina edging Jia on the 18th hole 4 - 6. Sorry to all involved. The handicap will be applied the same way. Nick's Highlights: Tied the course record today, *flex*. 3 Deuces, 1 Eagle and 1 Double Eagle. Deuces on #7, #8, and #11 from 10 ft+, 18 ft+ and 30 ft+ respectively. Tim's Highlights: Tim came in on a late round mission with some tough deuces. 4 Deuces and an Eagle in the bag. Deuces on #3, #14, #15, and #18 from 3 ft+, 2 ft+, 18 ft+ and 18 ft+ respectively. Bill's Highlights: Making a triumphant return with a Sub-60. Shaking off the dust my a$$. Lone Deuce for Butt-ah came on #15 from 19 ft+ away. Casey's Highlights: Deuce and Eagle for Casey today, Deuce on #9 from 4 ft+. Solid driving and placement from Casey all day. Jesse's Highlights: After learning the finer points of Hat Etiquette, Jesse's game closed with a solid run of 6 3's in a row. The 3 on 17 could have easily been a Mega-Deuce coming from Jesse rattling the chains from about 150 ft+ out. Tina's Highlights: Tina continues to show improvement and probably feels pretty good about that 4 on #18 by now. Jia's Highlights: Tough break for Jia. Hopefully he picked up the lessons Bill was giving all day long. Tina's Highlights: Aside from Rocking the Power Puffs Tina also dropped 10 strokes on the back 9 as well as staying out of O.B. Brent's Highlights: It was good to see Brent return to the frey, solid outting after the hiatus and an O.B. free back 9 as well. Nick's Highlights: He's not a playa, he just crushes a lot. To the tune of 4 Deuces and Eagle and a Double Eagle. Quad Deuce day for Timmy on #9, #14, #15 and #16 from 18 ft+, 21 ft+, 6 ft+ and 18 ft+. Casey's Highlights: Casey had a stong day of ups and down and near misses. Jesse's Highlights: We're just glad Jesse made it out, recovering from a wrist injury. And in style he did return with some stellar drives and fairway shots.
